This policy explains how Jorgobé ApS collects and uses personal data when you visit jorgobe.com, jorgobe.dk or jorgobe.se, place an order, contact us or sign up for our newsletter.

What we collect and why

Orders. When you buy from us, we process your name, address, email address, phone number, order details and payment confirmation. We need this to deliver your order, handle returns and complaints, and meet our accounting obligations. Legal basis: performance of a contract (GDPR article 6(1)(b)) and legal obligation (article 6(1)(c)). We do not see or store your card details; payment is handled by our payment providers.

Customer account. If you create an account, we store your contact details and order history so you can log in and see your orders. Legal basis: performance of a contract.

Newsletter. If you sign up, we use your email address and, where you have given it, your name to send you news and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email. Legal basis: consent (article 6(1)(a)).

Customer service. When you write to us by email or chat, we process what you send us in order to answer you. Legal basis: legitimate interest in answering enquiries (article 6(1)(f)).

Website use. We use cookies and similar technologies to make the website work, remember your choices and understand how the site is used. Cookies that are not strictly necessary are only set with your consent, which you can change at any time in the cookie settings. Legal basis: consent, and legitimate interest for strictly necessary cookies.

Who we share data with

We use carefully selected suppliers who process data on our behalf and only on our instructions: our webshop platform (Shopify), payment providers (Shopify Payments, PayPal, Klarna, AnyDay, MobilePay), carriers (DAO, GLS, DHL, Budbee, PostNord), our newsletter tool (Klaviyo), our chat tool (Tidio) and analytics tools (Google Analytics). Where a supplier is based outside the EU/EEA, transfers are covered by the European Commission's approved safeguards. We never sell your data.

How long we keep data

Order and invoice data is kept for five years after the end of the financial year, as required by the Danish Bookkeeping Act. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Account data is kept until you delete your account or ask us to. Customer service correspondence is deleted when the matter is closed and no longer needed.

Your rights

You have the right to access the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to our processing, to receive your data in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. Write to jorgobe@jorgobe.com and we will respond within a month. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.dk).

Children

Our website is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Changes

We update this policy when our processing changes. The current version is always available on this page.
