Shea and mango butter, castor, avocado and olive oils give the comfort straight away, while Volulip™ works on the lip itself. In a study with Volulip™, lip moisture was 50.6% higher 20 hours after the last application. Lips also became 10.5% softer and 8.6% fuller in one month.
The finish is silky and glossy rather than sticky. Wear the balm alone, layer it over lip colour, or apply a generous layer overnight. The difference is visible after a month of daily use. Materials and recycling
Packaging is the part of the product you throw away. That is why we spend time on it.
The tube itself on Niacinamide Serum is made with 63% post-consumer recycled plastic: plastic that has already been used and collected, rather than newly made. The cap, and the rest of our bottles and tubes, are still virgin plastic, and that is the part we are working on.
Not everything is plastic. Some products come in glass, others in aluminium. The aluminium in the Niacinamide Hand Balm tube is 95% recycled. Both can be melted down and used again many times over.
Our outer cartons are paper.
How to sort it
Plastic bottles, tubes, pumps and caps: plastic. They do not need to be clean.
Glass bottles: glass.
Aluminium tubes: metal.
The carton: paper.
We are not there yet, and we are working on bringing more of our packaging along.
