Niacinamide Serum is for you if your skin has several small concerns that come and go, rather than one big one. The serum brings skin back into balance with less visible pores, a more even tone and less redness, so skin looks clearer and calmer.
Niacinamide is a true multitasker. It strengthens the skin barrier, helps regulate oil production, takes the edge off visible redness and evens out skin tone. The serum contains 5% niacinamide, the concentration behind the strongest clinical studies, because more can irritate the very barrier the serum is meant to strengthen. In a placebo-controlled study at 5%, niacinamide gave fewer fine lines, pigment spots and red blotches over 12 weeks. And in a test, agarikon made pores 18.3% less visible in 15 minutes, against 7.8% on placebo.
The light gel-cream does not feel greasy, and once the serum has absorbed you can apply makeup on top. Use morning and evening. Suitable for all skin types. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, ask your doctor or midwife before use.

Materials and recycling
Packaging is the part of the product you throw away. That is why we spend time on it.
The tube itself on Niacinamide Serum is made with 63% post-consumer recycled plastic: plastic that has already been used and collected, rather than newly made. The cap, and the rest of our bottles and tubes, are still virgin plastic, and that is the part we are working on.
Not everything is plastic. Some products come in glass, others in aluminium. The aluminium in the Niacinamide Hand Balm tube is 95% recycled. Both can be melted down and used again many times over.
Our outer cartons are paper.
How to sort it
Plastic bottles, tubes, pumps and caps: plastic. They do not need to be clean.
