The Redness & Irritation Regimen brings together four of our gentlest formulas for skin that turns red easily. They calm redness and strengthen the barrier, so the skin reacts less often.
Our 3 + 1 system has just four steps, three daily and one booster, all free from fragrance and retinol. Azelaic Acid Serum calms visible redness without the sting of stronger acids, and in a placebo-controlled study, azelaic acid gave 7.7% less redness and 26.7% better hydration over eight weeks. In a study, the centella in the booster, Centella Serum, lowered blood flow in the cheek, which is what causes the redness, by 30.8% in six weeks. Balancing Complex Moisturiser calms redness, and Glycerin Hydra Cleanser cleanses without drying skin that is already fragile.
All four products are gentle enough to start the whole routine on the same day, and are used morning and evening. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, ask your doctor or midwife before starting the routine.

Materials and recycling
Packaging is the part of the product you throw away. That is why we spend time on it.
The tube itself on Niacinamide Serum is made with 63% post-consumer recycled plastic: plastic that has already been used and collected, rather than newly made. The cap, and the rest of our bottles and tubes, are still virgin plastic, and that is the part we are working on.
Not everything is plastic. Some products come in glass, others in aluminium. The aluminium in the Niacinamide Hand Balm tube is 95% recycled. Both can be melted down and used again many times over.
Our outer cartons are paper.
How to sort it
Plastic bottles, tubes, pumps and caps: plastic. They do not need to be clean.
Glass bottles: glass.
Aluminium tubes: metal.
The carton: paper.
We are not there yet, and we are working on bringing more of our packaging along.
