2% BHA Salicylic Acid Exfoliating Toner Mini
2% BHA Salicylic Acid Exfoliating Toner is the toner for clearer pores and fewer blackheads. It works inside the pore, where sebum and dead cells collect, and loosens the congestion so skin feels clean.
Salicylic acid is oil-soluble, so it can get down into the pore and dissolve the mix of sebum and dead skin cells that causes blackheads. In studies, 2% salicylic acid gave fewer blackheads than placebo over 12 weeks. 2% salicylic acid is the highest level the EU allows in facial products. Liquorice root soothes the skin.
Soak a cotton pad and gently wipe it over clean skin 1-2 times a day. Avoid the eye area, and do not rinse off. Wear SPF 30 or higher during the day. Fragrance-free. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, ask your doctor or midwife before use.

Materials and recycling
Packaging is the part of the product you throw away. That is why we spend time on it.
The tube itself on Niacinamide Serum is made with 63% post-consumer recycled plastic: plastic that has already been used and collected, rather than newly made. The cap, and the rest of our bottles and tubes, are still virgin plastic, and that is the part we are working on.
Not everything is plastic. Some products come in glass, others in aluminium. The aluminium in the Niacinamide Hand Balm tube is 95% recycled. Both can be melted down and used again many times over.
Our outer cartons are paper.
How to sort it
Plastic bottles, tubes, pumps and caps: plastic. They do not need to be clean.
Glass bottles: glass.
Aluminium tubes: metal.
The carton: paper.
We are not there yet, and we are working on bringing more of our packaging along.
