Fine Lines & Wrinkles Regimen Mini
The Fine Lines & Wrinkles Regimen is for you if you want firmer, smoother skin. Our 3 + 1 system gives you three daily steps and one booster that together work on fine lines and firmness, both on the surface and on the skin's collagen further down.
Collagen Peptide Serum is the centre of the routine and signals the skin to build more collagen itself. In a placebo-controlled study, the peptide SYN®-COLL CB increased the skin's collagen density by 22% in four weeks. In the evening, Retinol Vitamin A Treatment renews the surface, and in a 12-week study Granactive Retinoid® gave a visible improvement in almost half, almost twice as many as with placebo. Glycerin Hydra Cleanser and Balancing Complex Moisturiser spare the barrier through the first weeks with the retinoid.
The order is under How to use. Wear SPF 30 or higher during the day, as skin is more sensitive to sun while you use a retinoid. Retinoids are not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. If in doubt, ask your doctor or midwife.

*The study figures come from studies of the active ingredients, and the products contain them at the same dose or higher.
MORNING
Glycerin Hydra Cleanser, then Collagen Peptide Serum, then Balancing Complex Moisturiser.
EVENING
The same three. On the evenings you use the booster, it goes after the serum and before the moisturiser.
BOOSTER
Retinol Vitamin A Treatment in the evening. Apply a small amount and smooth it evenly over the face. Start with a few evenings a week and increase as your skin adapts.
Always wear sunscreen during the day when using a retinoid. Retinoids are not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. If in doubt, ask your doctor or midwife.
How the studies were done:
SYN®-COLL CB: 25 people per group, twice daily for four weeks, collagen density measured by ultrasound against a placebo group
Argireline®: 41 people, wrinkle area around the eyes fell by an average of 11% after five days
Granactive Retinoid®: 2%, 12 weeks, double-blind against placebo, skin texture measured by digital image analysis
Results vary from person to person.
The actives that do the work in each step.
Glycerin 50%. In the cleanser. At this concentration it is the base of the gel rather than an additive, which is why cleansing and hydrating happen in the same step.
Five Peptides and Vegan Exosomes. In the serum. Some smooth the lines already there, others help the skin build its own collagen.
Oat Kernel Extract. In the moisturiser. Documented to soothe, which helps the skin through the first weeks with the retinoid.
Granactive Retinoid® 2%. In the booster. A new generation of vitamin A that renews the surface at a strength most skin tolerates.

Materials and recycling
Packaging is the part of the product you throw away. That is why we spend time on it.
The tube itself on Niacinamide Serum is made with 63% post-consumer recycled plastic: plastic that has already been used and collected, rather than newly made. The cap, and the rest of our bottles and tubes, are still virgin plastic, and that is the part we are working on.
Not everything is plastic. Some products come in glass, others in aluminium. The aluminium in the Niacinamide Hand Balm tube is 95% recycled. Both can be melted down and used again many times over.
Our outer cartons are paper.
How to sort it
Plastic bottles, tubes, pumps and caps: plastic. They do not need to be clean.
Glass bottles: glass.
Aluminium tubes: metal.
The carton: paper.
We are not there yet, and we are working on bringing more of our packaging along.

Fine Lines & Wrinkles Regimen Mini
The numbered icons on the packaging show the order. The booster carries a + rather than a number, because it does not always come last. Exfoliating boosters go in after cleansing, so they can prepare the surface. Other boosters go in after the serum. Each regimen tells you which.

Why it works
Four products, chosen to work on the same thing from different directions, in an order that is already decided.
Buying four good products is not quite the same as having a routine. Actives can overlap, and it is not always obvious whether a retinoid goes on before or after the serum.
These four are chosen to be used together. The serum and the retinoid work on fine lines in different ways, so the effects add up instead of overlapping. The cleanser and moisturiser protect the barrier, so the skin can handle the routine every day. And the order comes with it.
