What does each step in the 3 + 1 System do?

When will I start seeing results?

Skincare takes time. Most people begin to notice improvements within 4–6 weeks of consistent daily use. For concerns like pigmentation or fine lines, allow at least 8–12 weeks for meaningful results. Consistency is the single most important factor.

Can I use more than one serum at a time?

In general, we recommend layering serums carefully and following the instructions for each product. As a rule, apply lighter, water-based serums before thicker, oil-based ones. Our Skin Consultation can help you build the right routine.

Can I use Jorgobé products alongside products from other brands?

Yes. Jorgobé products are designed to work as a complete system, but they can also be integrated alongside products from other brands. Avoid combining active ingredients that may cause irritation — such as retinol and strong acids — in the same routine step.

What is the difference between AHA and BHA?

AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) exfoliates the surface of the skin and works best for dullness, uneven texture, and pigmentation. BHA (beta hydroxy acid) penetrates deeper into the pores and is particularly effective for oily skin, blackheads, and blemishes. Jorgobé offers both in dedicated exfoliator products.

Are Jorgobé products suitable for men?

Yes. All Jorgobé products are developed for skin health — not for a specific gender. Men can use the full range and follow the same 3 + 1 Skincare System.

Are Jorgobé products clinically tested?

Yes. All Jorgobé products are developed and tested to meet the highest EU cosmetics safety standards before going to market.

Can sensitive skin use retinol?

Retinol can be used by sensitive skin types, but we recommend starting slowly — every second or third evening — and building up frequency over time. Always apply SPF the following morning. If you experience persistent irritation, discontinue use and consult a dermatologist.

Do I need to use SPF as part of my routine?

Yes. SPF is the single most important step you can add to your morning routine. Daily sun protection helps prevent premature ageing, pigmentation, and UV damage — and is essential when using active ingredients such as retinol, AHA, or BHA. We recommend a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher every morning, applied as the final step before makeup. Choose a formula that suits your skin type and wear it every day, regardless of the weather.

What is the difference between dry and dehydrated skin?

Dry skin is a skin type — it lacks oil and feels tight or flaky. Dehydrated skin is a skin condition — it lacks water and can affect any skin type, including oily skin. The Dryness & Dehydration Regimen addresses both.

Are Jorgobé products fragrance-free?

The vast majority of our products are completely fragrance-free. Two products contain a mild, carefully selected scent — these are long-standing favourites that our customers love. In all cases, we formulate with your skin's health in mind and use only ingredients that meet the highest EU safety standards.

Are Jorgobé products vegan?

Yes. All Jorgobé products are 100% vegan and PETA-certified. We never use animal-derived ingredients and we never will.

Are Jorgobé products tested on animals?

No. Jorgobé is a cruelty-free brand. All our products are PETA-certified. We do not test on animals at any stage of development or production.

What is The No-List?

How long do Jorgobé products last?

All Jorgobé products have a shelf life of 36 months from the date of production when stored unopened under the right conditions. After opening, follow the PAO symbol (Period After Opening) on the packaging — a small open jar icon with a number such as 12M — indicating how many months the product performs optimally after opening.
