That tight, squeaky feeling after washing is not a sign that a cleanser worked. Usually it means it took part of the barrier with it.
Glycerin Hydra Cleanser is built the other way round. With 50% glycerin, it lifts away dirt, oil and makeup while actively putting moisture back, which is why skin feels more hydrated after rinsing than before.
It is a light foaming gel, sulphate-free, at a pH of 4.5 to 5 so nothing gets stripped. Betaine and squalane keep the skin soft, Pentavitin® holds moisture in place after rinsing, and aloe calms.
Massage it into damp skin for a good 30 seconds so it has time to dissolve makeup and sunscreen properly. If you wear heavy or waterproof makeup, cleanse twice, or reach for Micellar Cleansing Water first.
Your skin feels clean and comfortable straight away, never tight. It suits every skin type, and contains no ingredients that are advised against during pregnancy.

Materials and recycling
Packaging is the part of the product you throw away. That is why we spend time on it.
At least 50% of the plastic in our bottles and tubes is post-consumer recycled: plastic that has already been used and collected, rather than newly made. The rest is virgin plastic, and we work to bring that share down.
Not everything is plastic. Some products come in glass, others in aluminium that is itself recycled material. Both can be melted down and used again many times over.
Our outer cartons are paper.
How to sort it
Plastic bottles, tubes, pumps and caps: plastic. They do not need to be clean.
Glass bottles: glass.
Aluminium tubes: metal.
The carton: paper.
We are not there yet. Half of our plastic is still virgin, and that is the half we are working on.

Why it works
Most cleansers work by stripping. Surfactants pull oil off the skin, and they take the barrier lipids with it, which is what that tight feeling actually is. This one is built around glycerin instead, so cleansing and hydrating happen in the same step.
